I mean, seriously?

40-17?  Our Eagles are now in first place in the NFC East, sitting right next to the Cowboys, so needless to say that next week’s game against them will be a nail biter!

In any case, we had a great time playing for you guys again — we have a few media clips which we’ll be getting up over the course of the week, and we’re also adding Bio’s of the players which you can find on this site under “The Players.”

As it stands, we’re off until the game against Giants on November 1st (remember, the game has been pushed up to 1pm!), but we’re working on some new notes and awesome beats for you guys; in the mean time, here are a couple of video clips:

The drumline had a great time as well — we shot a music video with Mr. Reeze (Put Ya Hands Up) and jammed in the lot again with the fans.  We hooked up again with Comcast to do Pregame Live! on CSN — looking forward to performing for them this season.  We’re still working on getting some media for you from this week, but in the meantime, here’s a clip of us on Channel 3 with Bob Kelly’s Tailgate Takeover from last week’s game:

The Eagles have a Bye Week coming up, so Talon will be learning some new notes to keep you guys entertained!  See you soon!

The fans were awesome and incredibly supportive and gave us a warm welcome, to say the least.  We started off warming up and making our way around the lot, playing for the tailgaters and hardcore fans — a little tip, if you want us to stop and play for you, make a lot of noise!

The activities for the day included a spot on Channel 3 with Bob Kelly, a short stint on Channel 6 and playing in and out of commercial breaks for Comcast Sportsnet!

It’s truly an exciting day for us today — we found out this morning that the  Philadelphia Eagles have asked us to play at their home games.  After picking our jaws up off of the floor, we promptly accepted and worked ourselves into a frenzy in order to get ready for the first home game against the Saints on September 20th.

A huge thanks to Barry Hewes, Director of the Sounds of Philadelphia, the organization under which Talon is affiliated; Larry Cauley, Coordinator and Arranger for… well, coordinating us and writing our notes; to the regional organizers for handling your sections; and finally, a big thanks to Justin Sammis and the guys over at the University of Delaware for helping us out with so much!

So, if you happen to be in town on Sunday, September 20th when the Saints attempt to come marching into The Linc, check us out before the game starts — we’ll be tailgating and entertaining the fans out in the parking lot and I’m sure hoping we’ll give the fans a little bit of love after the game, too.
